Attractions are divided into:
Natural attractions:
All natural aesthetic values include the nature of the land, the extension of seas, lakes, rivers, plains, deserts, etc.
Man-made attractions:
Such as historical monuments, people’s way of life, customs and traditions. These elements also include archaeological and material treasures
For example, attractions can be categorized according to the goal or motivation to several divisions that can be summarized as follows:
Historical desires: It includes ancient areas, places of civilizations and places of historical events.
Cultural / ethnic desires:
It may be noted that many of the motives tourists visit to a particular country is to identify the customs and traditions of the people of this country how to live and what they wear to eat and so on.
Medical and therapeutic:
The therapeutic products are among the first therapeutic centers known as a tourist attraction.
Religious desires:
They include religious holy sites and places of religious events.
Business wishes:
And concentrated in the major cities, especially the cities and capitals of the major industrialized countries or developed countries where all services and facilities are available for businessmen to hold major deals (Harbi, 2012, 35-37)
