Tourism media necessarily focuses on introducing the tourism facilities provided to tourists upon their arrival because any restriction on their movement and freedom has an adverse effect, whether on extending their stay, on their return visits, or on inviting other relatives and friends to visit the countries they visited.
Tourism media also focuses on introducing sites, centers, tourism and entertainment investments, and the cultural and economic aspects of the tourism movement. People are attracted to curiosity, which is linked to many things, the most important of which are the love of travel and trips and introducing other people to the progress the country has achieved in other fields.

One of the characteristics of tourism media is that the media person knows that tourism media must:
1- Presented in a manner consistent with the customs and traditions of peoples.
2- Come expressing their ancient civilization and modern renaissance.
3- To rely on providing tourist attractions such as hotels, entertainment, travel facilities at ports and airports, prices, etc.

The first type is print media, which is the type of media that is printed, where paper is used directly, such as:
First – Newspapers and journals: Local newspapers are one of the oldest media, each of which specializes in a specific country and publishes local, regional, and international news, as the paper newspaper contains this media material written in a journalistic manner and in it political or economic analyses are presented as an example or articles are included in addition to those other angles in it such as advertisements, whether they are government advertisements or commercial advertisements, and the newspaper or paper newspaper is usually issued periodically, whether daily, weekly or even monthly.
