Tourism is considered one of the vital economic fields for many countries, whether developed or developing, and tourism organizations play the largest role through their continuous awareness stemming from a tourism culture based primarily on the necessity of attracting tourists continuously, as tourism heritage and the country’s capabilities and tourist sites play the main factor in attracting a large number of tourists.
The tourism industry also offers distinctive opportunities for society, through which it allows the possibility of enjoying diverse and useful tourist spaces to achieve the greatest possible degree of comfort and entertainment, and to learn about new cultures and knowledge, and to break the routine of daily life. Tourism plays a prominent role in creating a kind of social and cultural harmony through the exchange of cultures, traditions and customs between different peoples. In other words, we can say that the tourism industry has been and still is in continuous development that is moving at a fast pace with other industries. Hence, the need to understand many important factors directly related to the tourism movement appears, and the tourist is the main factor as the goal and means of tourism, which requires increasing awareness of the importance of integrated information about tourists in terms of needs, desires and tastes reflected in their behavior. Studying the tourist’s personality is very sensitive due to its connection to the future of tourism and in order to ensure the preservation of the tourist when choosing the tourism style and ensuring the continued flow of tourists to the tourist area. In recent years, researchers have become increasingly interested in studying the tourist’s personality and its importance, which goes beyond being a human behavior that is affected by a set of factors and pressures that affect it, whether these factors are internal or external, making the process of choosing the tourism style and how to make a decision about a specific style and the reason for choosing it. Studies have focused a lot on the decision to choose the tourism style because it is an important foundation for the success of tourism development. This study will study the impact of the tourist’s personal dimensions on his choice of the tourism style.
