Oman establishes low-cost airlines around the world

The Sultanate of Oman is heading to establish a low-cost airline, called globally (Locoast), and this step comes after the success of some companies, whether in the Middle East or Europe.

The competent authorities were able to obtain the government’s approval on the condition that a feasibility study be prepared in particular, and that some companies have recently stumbled, but in the event that a nascent company appears in the Sultanate, the financial burden will be eased on the shoulders of travelers on the grounds that there will be another outlet that can be resorted to and a better option. For some in need, this type of airline offers discounted airfares even though it does not provide premium services like international airlines.

The Sultanate also intends to establish an air freight management company with a foreign strategic partnership, and it is currently in the negotiation stage with the strategic partner, and this will contribute positively in this field.

The number of low-cost airlines around the world is currently estimated at more than 30 airlines, and low-cost airlines in the Middle East capture the travel market, and it is believed that they will achieve a percentage in the future.
