First aid course in cooperation with the Faculty of Tourism Sciences – Karbala University
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society held a branch of Karbala in coordination with the Educational Extension Unit at the College, represented by Dr. Sawsan Alawi Dhahi Al-Ghanmi, the first aid workshop for cadres and students of the Faculty of Tourism Sciences / Department of Religious Tourism for a period of four days from 4/3/2019 to 7 / 3/2019, presented by Mr. Samer Nizar Abdul Zahra, Health Division Officer, Ms. Zaynab Zia Abboud, Mr. Aqeel Mehdi Meteb, Construction and Sanitation Instructor, and Mr. Mustafa Assem Governor. The meeting was attended by Dr. Makki Abdul Majid Al-Rubaie, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism Sciences, Sadiq Kamar Abboud and Professor Dr. Radi Hammoud Jassim, head of the Department of Religious Tourism, in addition to the teachers and students of the department, assisted in the rescue and handling of injuries and emergencies in times of disasters, including scientific exercises and realistic practices of the sample to simulate the real cases of injury.
