
Meeting to Discuss Preparations for the Karbala Tourism Festival
The Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Dr. Salam Jaafar Al-Asadi, held a meeting with the college’s specialized faculty and professors to discuss the necessary preparations for organizing the Karbala Tourism Festival, which will be held at the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala.
The meeting addressed the development of the festival’s basic ideas and the identification of the most prominent activities to be presented. Participants also discussed logistical and organizational aspects to ensure the smooth running of the events, as well as ways to enhance cooperation with relevant entities to ensure the festival’s success and highlight it in a manner befitting the city’s historical and touristic significance.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Asadi emphasized the importance of the festival in highlighting the vital role of tourism in Karbala. He called on all faculty members to exert maximum efforts to ensure the success of this important event, thus reflecting the bright image of the college and university both locally and internationally.
