
A delegation from the College of Tourism Sciences participates in the University Photography Festival in Babylon
A delegation of professors and students from the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala participated in the University Photography Festival, organized by the Student Activities Department at Al-Mustaqbal University in Babylon.
This participation came as part of the “Future University Student Festival,” which aims to enhance the artistic and creative talents of Iraqi university students.
The delegation’s participation featured a collection of photographic works that reflected the aesthetics of sustainable development in Iraq, with a focus on the archaeological and religious landmarks of the holy Karbala Governorate. The works also highlighted the cultural and natural diversity that makes Iraq a unique tourist destination.
The organizers praised the artistic quality of the works presented by the students of the College of Tourism Sciences, emphasizing the importance of such participation in strengthening Iraq’s tourism identity and highlighting its great potential in this field.
It is worth noting that the University of Karbala won the Climate Action Award at the University Photography Festival, among 55 universities.
