The Concept of Tourism Resources Investment

It is the process of planning, organizing, and making decisions, leading and controlling the activities of members of a tourism company, and utilizing all organizational resources (human, financial, material, and informational) to achieve the company’s objectives efficiently and effectively. To begin, it is necessary to address the concept of tourism. Despite the multiplicity of concepts in this field, the true religion of Islam has clarified the reality of tourism and its purposes. Al-Mu’jam Al-Wasit (The Intermediate Dictionary, 469, 1995) states that tourism in language carries many meanings, but in reality, it is limited to traveling between different countries for recreation and relaxation, or for exploration, research, and other purposes. Therefore, tourism is not the same as travel for income, work, or permanent residence. Tourism is defined as a human activity that involves traveling from one place to another based on a set of common motives, and activities and events are carried out in the destination
