Economic stability in the overall economic environment plays a fundamental role in the competitiveness of the state, and is directly related to the attraction of the tourist destination. If the general economy of the state is prosperous, the state becomes more attractive to local and international tourists. The prosperous economy also provides a lot of investments to develop the infrastructure of tourist destinations in the country. In light of good economic conditions, the state government is able to invest in this sector, and to be creative in providing tourist attractions that enable it to properly exploit the tourist wealth it possesses. Economic factors such as the exchange rate, inflation, unemployment rate, and others also directly affect the attractiveness of the tourist destination.
