A delegation from the College of Tourism Sciences visits Karbala Intermediate School for Tourism and Hotels to enhance academic cooperation

Within the framework of enhancing academic cooperation between educational institutions, a delegation from the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala visited Karbala Intermediate School for Tourism and Hotels. The visit aimed to introduce the Department of Travel and Aviation Services and its academic objectives, as well as to highlight the opportunities that the department offers to students in the field of aviation and air tourism.

The visiting delegation included Assistant Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Al-Abbadi, along with the Head of the Media and Government Communications Department at the college, Assistant Lecturer Muhammad Redha Al-Asfour. They were received by the Director of the Intermediate School and its teaching staff.

During the visit, the students were introduced to the objectives of the Department of Travel and Aviation Services, which is considered the first of its kind in Iraq, and aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills in the fields of air tourism and aviation management. The academic specializations offered by the department and the career opportunities it opens up for graduates in this growing sector were also highlighted.

At the end of the visit, a discussion was opened between the visiting delegation and the middle school students, where the delegation answered many questions and inquiries raised by the students about the academic specializations, encouraging them to head towards this vital field, which is witnessing continuous development in the local and global market.
