The roots of the practice of public relations go back to an ancient period, where persuasion and communication techniques were used to achieve specific goals. With the emergence and development of media and communication, the field of public relations has evolved into a specialized profession aimed at building strong and effective relationships between institutions and their audiences.

In the nineteenth century, companies and institutions in the United States and Europe began using public relations techniques to enhance their image and communication with the public. In 1906, Edward Bernays William Hunter founded the world’s first public relations agency in New York.

Since then, the field of public relations has developed significantly, and has had a major impact on the marketing and communication processes of companies and institutions. With the development of communication and technology, it has become easier for institutions to communicate with their audience more effectively and efficiently.
