The concept of tourism
It refers to individuals coming for the purpose of working in the destination they are going to, non-tourist travelers. It can also be defined as moving from the original home to another place at a distance of no less than 80 kilometers for a period of no less than 24 hours and no more than a year, not because of work or immigration, but for many reasons, including entertainment or study.
It refers to studying the supply and demand for accommodation and support services for residents far from their home; and the resulting patterns of spending, income and employment.
Tourism is also defined as a response to a social need and includes all the elements that combine to reveal the tourist’s experiences, which arise to serve his needs and expectations.
Definitions can be set according to the tourism concept according to them:
1- The concept of tourism according to political dimensions
Or it is a highly sensitive activity as a result of the scrutiny of political factors under the prevailing governmental control of the host country
2- The concept of tourism according to political dimensions
Or it is a phenomenon of the era that arises from the increasing need to obtain rest and recreation and change the atmosphere and feel the beauty of nature and taste it.
3- The concept of tourism as a system
As it was known as all the principles or rules that organize recreational or beneficial trips, whether related to what travelers or tourists do personally and what is related to what those who receive them and facilitate their movement do.
