Population

Tourism demand depends on. The number of people and the relationship between them is direct, the larger the population, the larger the tourism demand and vice versa while keeping other factors constant, and this is expressed by the just selfish satisfied whenever they are
Since: represents the number of people. To confirm the validity of this relationship, we say that if there were two countries that were similar in all specifications (material capabilities, cultural level, leisure time, etc.), except for a difference in population size, then it is certain that the country with the largest population will have a greater demand for tourism. This rule may not apply to some countries with a high population density in reality, such as India and China. Despite the high population density of these two countries, the tourism demand of their residents is low. This is due to the strong influence of other factors, most notably the income factor. Despite the global population density in them, tourism demand is low as long as the population suffers from low income and standard of living. It is not only the population size that controls tourism demand. There are also other population factors that play a role in tourism demand, including: Age. The more the youth category in society increases compared to the categories of children and the elderly, the more tourism demand increases, and vice versa, while other factors remain constant. The explanation for this is that young people have high physical strength and great drive. In addition, the difference in age groups in society affects the quality of tourism, as young people prefer tourism patterns that differ from those preferred by the elderly. B. Gender: The ratio of males to females in society. It became clear that males’ demand for tourism is greater than females’ demand. Thus, the higher the percentage of both men and women in society, the higher the demand for tourism, and vice versa, while the latter factors remain constant. This is due to the fact that males are more energetic, active, and love movies, sports, change, and renewal than females, in addition to the fact that they enjoy almost absolute freedom. As for females, they tend to be stable and interested in the family and the family. In addition, in many societies, there is still a restriction on women’s freedom. C. Social status: The ratio of bachelors to married people in society. The rule and laws for this are that the higher the percentage of bachelors in society, the higher the demand for tourism, the teacher, and the correct annual rate, while the other factors remain constant. This is due to the fact that the person is at a more free age and less restricted and responsible, in addition to the cost factor.
