Dean of the College Participates in the Karbala Day Festival on the Occasion of the Birth of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)

The Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala, Dr. Salam Jaafar Al-Asadi, participated today in the Karbala Day Festival on the Occasion of the Birth of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

The festival’s activities, which were titled “Hussein (peace be upon him) is a shining beacon for nations to follow”, were attended by the Governor of Karbala, Eng. Naseef Jassim Al-Khattabi, the Chairman and members of the Provincial Council, a number of directors of government departments, the Director of the United Nations Office for Food and Agriculture in the province, Ali Kamouneh, and a group of presidents and deans of universities, colleges and students.

Mr. Al-Asadi expressed his happiness with this participation, which commemorates the birth of the Master of Martyrs, Hussein (peace be upon him), congratulating at the same time all members of the college and its students on this blessed day.
