Types of Sports Tourism

1. Racing and festival tourism: applies to car and bike races and film festivals.

2. Safari and adventure tourism: This is the tourism that takes place across deserts and its types vary, some of which are for hunting in areas where hunting is permitted.

3. Wandering tourism: This is one of the new types of tourism and is represented by taking a tour to remote areas famous for the beauty of their natural scenery and staying in camps in the desert and coexisting with nature.

4. Car and bike tourism: Car and bike tourism falls under the new tourism patterns as it is subject to certain conditions and requirements that are only present in a few countries such as highways that connect countries to each other, and the availability of service and maintenance stations, emergency and ambulance centers, and rest areas.

5. Water sports tourism: This type of tourism depends on the presence of water in lakes and rivers. The time spent by the tourist practicing various water sports varies, such as: diving, water skiing, swimming, yacht or boat racing.
