Natural components include all natural environmental resources related to mountains, deserts, beaches, rivers and other elements of the natural environment, and they should be utilized in the best way to provide appropriate sports in them. The features of the earth’s surface have a direct impact on sports in Iraq.

A – Climate: Climate is important as a natural factor affecting human movement and activity in general and tourism in particular, through the effect of the lake’s water surface and its mitigation of the intensity of temperatures, even if to a limited extent, in addition to the role of water in feeling the heat of the weather, especially during the long and abundant summer daylight hours, in addition to the psychological effect of the view of the water and the imposition of spending some beautiful times in somewhat cold water. The climate is transitional between the moderate climate of the high mountainous region in the north and the desert climate in the south, which is characterized by high temperatures, especially in the long summer that lasts more than 6 months, as man depends in his life on the atmosphere in two aspects: on the one hand, he needs oxygen in the breathing process, and on the other hand, the human body requires a suitable thermal environment, as the low molecular pressure of oxygen or the opposite (unsuitable) thermal conditions stimulate some voluntary actions or involuntary physiological attractions in the human body to establish a state of physical stability in man. The climate of the region is hot and dry in summer and cold to moderate in winter, as the astronomical location and topographic features play a role in determining the characteristics of the climate, especially temperatures (1)

B – Natural vegetation and wildlife: The natural vegetation that grows on the surface of the earth is the result of a set of natural factors such as climate elements, temperature, humidity and precipitation, in addition to suitable soil, meaning that this growth and geographical distribution occurs naturally without human intervention, in addition to the role of the diversity of living organisms in the balance of the ecosystem, its resources promise that it will play an increasing role in development, as it provides valuable contributions to agriculture, industry and medicine, in addition to the possibility of playing an important role in tourism activity by attracting large numbers of tourists to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery through the diversity of natural vegetation and living organisms in the region.

C – Desert area: This area includes the desert plateau and the alluvial plain except for its northern and eastern edges. As a result of the great difference in temperature between summer and winter, night and day, as well as the little rain, the plants of this region are few and adapted to these harsh conditions. The most important plants are the thil.

D- The plains region: It includes the semi-mountainous lands (undulating) and a section of the eastern edges of the alluvial plain. Most of its plants consist of grasses and some bulbous and thorny plants. Water resources in Iraq are specialized in: rain and snow, groundwater that is found in many forms, marshes, and finally rivers. These resources have been subject to a decrease in return. There is a continuous increase in the population, and a decline in the reason for the existence of water, which has increased many diseases. Therefore, to solve this study on the real water resources in Iraq, and the possibility of developing them in light of what is available.
