1. High prices and many taxes related to the costs of domestic tourism.
2. The danger or unsuitability of many internal and external roads that connect the governorates and cities of the country, especially those that contain archaeological sites.
3. Lack and inadequacy of services that tourists need on the roads leading to tourist sites.
4. The lack of preparation of some areas that tourists go to, and their lack of many necessities, especially housing such as: three-star hotels for people with limited income, as well as cleanliness, and the lack of some services that encourage domestic tourism.
5. Low per capita income in some countries, especially developing countries, which leads to their inability to go out for tourism and entertainment as luxuries, as they are busy providing basic needs first.
6. Lack of sufficient and necessary interest and care for archaeological sites and weak promotion of them within the country.
7. Low standard of living for individuals, which limits their ability to spend on tourism activities.
8. Weakness or lack of desire among many citizens to visit historical, archaeological and religious sites and landmarks in the country, which is linked to weak tourism and cultural awareness of the importance and status of these tourist attractions, in addition to the limited diversity of recreational activities and programs that encourage tourism and entertainment directed at different segments of society.
9. Weakness of the necessary incentives that contribute to activating the internal tourism movement.
