Many studies indicate that the basis for improving the performance of hotel establishments and achieving competitive advantage is the quality of service, and its importance lies in the following:
Increasing the expectations of customers or guests by increasing the level of awareness of guests and informing them of the campaigns carried out by the hotel compared to other competing hotels.
The hotel’s interest in providing the social, legal and technological environment that helps guests obtain information quickly and also obtain hotel services with the quality they desire.
Continuous improvement of hotel service and also increasing market share in light of the activity of other competitors.
Developing and enhancing the capabilities and skills of workers and directing their behaviors positively to ensure the provision of high-level hotel service. (Mansour, Hamdan, 2023: 275)
Greater understanding of tourists Tourists like to be treated well, as its availability gives them a competitive advantage.
Growth of the service sector, most hotels are active in the service sector to maintain existing tourists and attract new tourists. (Boukhedna, Bou Akrif, 2018: 22-23)
