The impact of political and security stability on tourism

It means the establishment of security and safety among citizens and the right of every citizen to express what is on his mind as a result of his feeling of democracy and the knowledge of every person under democracy of his rights and duties towards society. In addition, internal political stability results from the absence of civil wars or any sectarian conflicts that would destabilize the political stability of the host country, and its impact on international relations, especially since tourists in any tourist country are considered citizens of the country whose nationality they enjoy, and on this basis they are treated as citizens of those countries in the host country (Abu Zaid, 313: 2008). Therefore, tourism demand is affected by political and security conditions.
Political and security stability play an important and effective role in the process of activating the tourism movement, and contribute to creating security and reassurance for the tourist. There is no tourism without the availability of political and security stability. If the political relations between countries are good, the tourism demand will recover to a great extent. That is, the relationship between political and security conditions on the one hand and tourism demand on the other hand is a direct relationship, because the availability of the security and personal aspect for tourists is of great importance to tourists, in addition to the availability of other tourist attractions for tourist sites, as tourism movement is active, especially those coming to tourist places where security and stability prevail. On the contrary, tourists stay away from unsafe areas with tensions and military conflicts. (Jassim, 86: 1999)
