It means the near or close land, as the Hadania depression is one of the large depressions that qualified to be a nature reserve and a national park for wildlife in the study area; it is (14 km) away from the center of Salman district, 10 km of which are paved, which is the same road linking the center of Salman district and the district of Basiya, and (4 km) is a dirt road with an area of 100 hectares. The area is distinguished by its biodiversity, representing plant complexes dating back hundreds of years. It is like genetic divisions that constitute a source for scientific and economic studies. They are consistent with the national natural reserve specifications, as plants abound in them, especially in the winter. Its land is covered with different plants, including wildside plants, other types of plants, birds, mammals, and reptiles. Some valleys and slopes help collect rainwater inside the depression in the spring seasons, which covers it with a lovely plant ornament. This makes it a place that many tourists visit, whether from the governorate or neighboring governorates, on their recreational trips, occasions, and holidays, especially in the spring and fall seasons.
