The Possibility of Exploiting Cultural Tourism to Promote Tourism about the Civilization of Iraq

Cultural tourism promotes tourism by attracting tourists to areas with archaeological and historical characteristics or popular heritage sites, festivals, and exhibitions. This type of tourism attracts certain kinds of tourists who wish to satisfy the desire for knowledge, increase their cultural information, and enjoy the ancient heritage of humanity through museums, caves, heritage, and cultural sites in addition to living with different peoples with their customs, traditions, arts, and values. The tourism sector is one of the leading and essential sectors in Iraq, and advertising is one of the critical promotional means and is of particular importance in developing the tourism and hotel sector and attracting the attention of tourists to visit sites and build their scientific tourism knowledge.
