The scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Nadia Al-Waili, and Students of the College of Tourism Sciences participated in launching the Activities of the Second Edition of the Iraqi Universities Debate Championship. ‍

The activities of the second edition of the Iraqi Universities Debate Championship were launched at the University of Karbala. The championship was organized by the International Academy for Leadership and Development (IALD) in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Muhammad, and the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Jassim Al-Barrak.‍

The Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Muhammad, stated that “the championship is a distinctive station to enhance constructive dialogue, consolidate the values ​​of intellectual debate, and create a generation aware of the issues of its society and capable of expressing its opinions objectively,” adding that “the championship highlights the skills of young people in research and analysis and teaches them to listen and respect different points of view.”‍

He stressed the University of Karbala’s commitment to its pivotal role in preparing future leaders, encouraging students to develop their intellectual and leadership skills, and believing in the importance of dialogue as a means of positive change.‍
