The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a training workshop on the phenomenon of drugs, methods of treatment, and their impact on the health of the individual and society, with the participation of college students.
The workshop, which was lectured by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Karrar Hadi Sahar, aimed to inform the participants of the seriousness of this phenomenon and its negative impact on the lives of the individual and society, as well as introducing them to the correct ways to treat and avoid it.
The workshop included a set of topics, including defining drugs linguistically and jurisprudentially, diving into their legal aspects, as well as addressing their types and the degree of their impact on human life.
