Transportation Roads Leading to the Holy City of Karbala

There are many main, secondary and rural roads that a visitor can take to go to the city of Karbala, and although most of these roads are unpaved and not well suited for use, they are used in many cases, especially during religious occasions witnessed by the governorate, which leads to visitors heading in large numbers to this governorate, which necessitates the need to take many of these roads due to the great congestion witnessed by the main paved roads,
Main transportation routes in terms of length:
1 – Karbala – Al-Musayyab – Al-Haswa Road 47 km
2 – Karbala – Al-Hindiya – Al-Hillah Road 43 km
3 – Karbala – Najaf Road 87 km
4 – Karbala – Al-Razzaza – Ain Al-Tamr Road 80 km
5 – Hajj road 257 km
6 – Thermston road 18 km
7 – Military convoys road 16 km
Secondary transportation routes in terms of length:
1 – Karbala – Husseiniya – Husseiniya junction road 18 km
2 – The road linking Babylon and Najaf road 7 km
