Contemporary tourism is characterized by the following features:

1- Not limiting travel and tourism to the rich class.

2- Low travel costs relatively.

3- The development of the accommodation places, their multiplicity, diversity, and the breadth of the geographical area spread over it.

4- Tourist trips from individual trips went to mass trips.

5- The phenomenon of tourism has become positively influential in the economies of countries.

6- The emergence of tourism science at the beginning of the sixties for the first time as an independent science.

7- The increase in the tourism movement, year after year, in quantity and quality.

8- Tourism was considered the art of providing service, and hospitality art.

9- The emergence of international tourism as a result of the development of intercontinental transportation.

10- Increased international investments in the tourism sector.

11- Using modern means in programming and planning tourism.

12- The contribution of tourism development to comprehensive economic development.

13- A large number of countries dependent on tourist income in their national product.

14- Tourism has become one of the largest income-generating sectors and work opportunities and its ability to fight poverty and unemployment [1]
