College of Tourism Sciences organizes a training workshop on how to reduce deviant religious movements in Iraq.
The Continuing Education Department at the College of Tourism Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a training workshop on how to reduce deviant religious movements in Iraq, presented by Dr. Muslim Mohsen Abboud.
The workshop, which targeted college students, aimed to raise awareness of deviant religious movements in Iraq, and shed light on the reasons leading to their spread, as well as to search for solutions and proposals that help in raising awareness among individuals in a manner consistent with the university’s societal functions and refining human behavior.
The workshop included a set of topics, including addressing the concept of deviant religious movements, the reasons for their emergence in Iraq, in addition to how to combat these extremist movements and find appropriate solutions for them.
