The role of tourism promotion in improving the quality of hotel services

(The holy city of Karbala)

This research aims to study the extent of the importance and role of promotion in addressing the reality of tourism promotion in tourist hotels in the holy city of Karbala by highlighting the status of the hotel sector and the role played by tourism promotion in the process of improving the quality of service for tourist hotels in the holy city of Karbala. Therefore, tourism promotion has a direct impact on improving the quality of hotel services for the holy city of Karbala.

We conclude from this that the holy city of Karbala has important tourism potential that qualifies it to become one of the prominent tourist cities in the world. In addition, we demand attention to the tourism and hotel sector, especially the hotel sector, and give it importance no less than other sectors.

Abstract

The research aims to study and determine the importance and role of promotion in addressing the reality of tourism promotion in tourist hotels in the holy city of Karbala by highlighting the status of the hotel sector and the role that tourism promotion plays in the process of improving the quality of service for tourist hotels in the holy city of Karbala. Therefore, tourism promotion has a direct impact on improving the quality of hotel services in the holy city of Karbala.

Introduction

The world is witnessing significant developments in the field of services, which have become of great importance in the economies of countries, as economic growth has been linked to the effectiveness and diversity of the services provided, and the developments that have occurred in the concept of tourism promotion have highlighted the role played by the services sector in all fields.

The tourism sector is one of the service sectors that has recently become more important. Today, tourism is no longer just a recreational activity limited to eating, drinking and walking, but has become an export industry in itself, and its importance has increased due to its close connection to other social, cultural, economic and even environmental aspects of life and the role it plays in infrastructure.
