Hotel establishments seek, through the services they provide, to achieve a set of goals that can be summarized as follows (Bouzazo and Al-Amaira, 101, 2007):
A- Improving the comfort of customers (guests): The establishment ensures the comfort of its guests during their stay through a set of services it provides (rooms, free time, fast banking services, food and beverage services). All of these services and others make customers spend enjoyable times.
B- Enhancing the image of the hotel establishment in the minds of guests: The hotel establishment works to provide all services that meet the needs of the guest with the highest quality that exceeds his expectations, which contributes to enhancing the image of the hotel establishment in the minds of its customers.
C- Ensuring the safety of guests: The hotel establishment aims, through the protection services it provides (such as adequate lighting, security workers, medical emergency facilities, guest room locks, and fire systems installed in the ceilings of the rooms, etc.), to ensure the safety of our customers and thus increase their sense of security and enhance their confidence in it.
C- Building a competitive advantage for the establishment Hospitality: Hotel establishments are not limited to providing basic services (such as accommodation, food, etc.), but rather they expand their services and raise them to the level of guests’ expectations and more, which leads to achieving guest satisfaction and loyalty to this establishment, which gives it a competitive advantage.
C- Outperforming competitors: The competitor in the field of hotel services is more intense and influential, and in order for the hotel establishment to continue in the market and to occupy the first ranks, it must provide a distinctive hotel service mix from the rest of the hotel services provided by competitors (Obeidat, 20: 2000).
3- Principles of new hotel service
Good service is the main criterion for the success of any hotel, and to achieve a high level of service, there are some principles that hotel workers must be aware of and adhere to, which are:
A- Speed in meeting the guest and not leaving him.
B- Leaving personal problems and bad psychological states aside when meeting the guest.
C- Working to serve the guest and meet his needs as quickly as possible.
