The impact of good hotel services in enhancing tourism activity

The tourism sector plays an important role in the economies of countries and plays a prestigious role and place and high interest from countries that have taken the development and growth of the tourism sector, which contributes to economic development and the development of the economic structure, and the economic impact of tourism provides a large amount of foreign currency, which tourists spend when they spend a period of time in their residence on various tourism services and goods, and that spending in the investment tourism sector contributes to the development of various sectors that in turn support it through goods and services.
Hotels are considered one of the main pillars in the success of the tourism activity process for countries that have diverse tourism components, and since the hotel classification in its various types expresses the level of hotels and the degrees in them and the quality of the services they provide, in Iraq, the hotel classification was adopted at the level of degrees and stars to express those hotels and their services within the country’s conditions at the level of hotel supply and demand, especially in the field of hotel institutions within that relationship, and the research seeks to provide data and statistics within a time series from 2015-2021 to determine the role of hotel institutions as profitable institutions for money by relying on the tourist demand for these hotel institutions in the holy Karbala Governorate. Tourism activity is an economic supporter at the local and international levels for countries that have diverse tourist components, archaeological, religious, natural, and cultural. This activity requires complementary pillars, one of which is the diverse hotel establishments with tourist and popular classifications, and the tourism services provided in them, which help to adopt sustainable development for them and stimulate and increase tourism demand in these tourist cities. In addition, these tourist cities need tourism laws and legislation, the entry of tourism investment and the adoption of modern construction models for internationally classified hotels, and increasing tourism awareness and culture in the local community in order to achieve ambitious goals. Tourism has developed during the last two decades in infrastructure and superstructure, and in many countries it has become competitive with oil, eliminating unemployment and providing various job opportunities.
