The shrine of Sayyid Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Mahd

He is Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Mahd bin Al-Hassan Al-Muthanna bin Imam Al-Hassan Al-Zaki bin Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, nicknamed (Ahmar Al-Aynayn), and he took revenge for Muhammad Dhi Al-Nafs Al-Zakiyya. He was a man of knowledge and religion, a brave, courageous knight, orator, and poet. He was martyred in the year 145 AH between Kufa and Basra during the reign of the Abbasid Caliphate of Al-Mansur. He was buried in this place, which is called the Abu (Jawareer) area today and is affiliated with the Al-Rumaitha District. The shrine is (10 km) north of the district center and is one kilometer away from the main road of the governorate.
(Media Department in the shrine of Mr. Ibrahim) It is on the right side of the main road for those from the Al-Qadisiyah Governorate. The number of visitors to the holy shrine is estimated at more than (100) on regular days, especially on the day of its visitation. Still, on special occasions, that number reaches more than (2000) visitors from inside and outside Iraq. (Al-Ansari, 2008) :406)
