Tourism Training and Education are Important Means for Developing Tourism Services:

The development in the concept of the hotel industry and the progress it has made in the tourism and hotel sector, especially in the developed world, which has prompted global hotel chain companies to adopt the most appropriate methods that would obtain a competitive advantage to improve their services by training workers to develop their performance in the field of specialization, which has prompted many tourism establishments to adopt training as a means to develop tourism services and provide the best to gain customers. Hence, the importance of training comes from what it represents in terms of position and priorities in work, as follows (1): –

Training and tourism qualification occupy a priority in the tourism development plan, and without it, there is no meaning to any effort made in the field of tourism development.

Tourism training is not only a developmental necessity, but it is a cultural, civilizational and human necessity, as it is a means for every country to promote its civilization and culture.
Tourism training is a double-edged sword and must be planned in a way that is consistent with the traditions and beliefs of all peoples, as it (any training) is a more effective means of showing many human and civilized aspects, and the attractiveness of any tourist destination and its growth are related to the level of training and its distinctive specificity that combines authenticity and modernity. Neglecting this dimension will make tourism training an obstacle against preserving the cultural or human heritage of any people.
Third world countries must shorten the time to catch up with civilization and rapid development, and scientific methods must be followed in their facilities and they must advance steadily to overcome the stages that countries preceded them in, and this is done through training, perseverance and making efforts to improve performance.
Tourism and hotel training without integrated strategies, policies, plans and programs in all related facilities, especially in the field of tourism, is just a useless effort and is a general and national responsibility concerned with gathering and directing those who have a direct interest in the tourism development process.
