The museum is the place that collects and houses a group of exhibits and valuables for the purpose of examination and study, and to preserve the cultural heritage of peoples throughout the ages of sciences, arts and all aspects of life to identify and study them to know the stages of development of human life and its civilizational achievements.

In view of the role that museums play in saving antiquities and human heritage, and with the increase in exhibits and the different methods and methods of display, there has become a kind of specialization in museums, and there was an urgent need to establish many specialized museums, so that those museums are able to carry out their mission towards the surrounding community. Art museums: This includes the display of art paintings, in addition to works of sculpture, pottery and other fine art items. Among the most famous art museums is the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Heritage Museums: These include museums that display the heritage of different civilizations from tools that were used in the past and present the development of these tools until they reached what we are now. The Heritage Museum also contains rooms for study and restoration, and among the heritage museums is the Museum of the Syrian city of Suwayda.

Scientific museums: They display scientific methods and discoveries through which the development of various environmental, laboratory and industrial sciences is used. These museums include the Museum of the Academy of Sciences in California.

Environmental museums: displaying different types of environmental vocabulary such as wood, various minerals, natural biology and other elements of nature around us.

Educational museums: These are places where samples of materials that serve the scientific and cultural aspects are displayed. Often this type of museum contains several exhibition halls, such as a heritage exhibition hall, another for antiquities, and a third for sciences with all its branches. One of the most famous of these museums is Madame Tussauds Museum in the British capital.
